payFit

Train,or pay up.

You put money on a promise to move every day. Keep it and the money stays yours — withdraw it whenever you like. Skip a day and it comes out of that balance.

of today is gone

That is your real clock, not an illustration. Have you trained yet?

The stake

$5 per day you skip
  • Worst week If you skipped all seven days. You only ever pay for the days you skip. $35.00
  • Skip two days a week What a realistically bad month costs. $40.00
  • Never skip The outcome the app is built to produce. $0.00

Three decisions,
then one photo a day.

No logging, no forms. Take a picture of yourself training and the day is done.

01

Set your stake

Big enough to get you off the sofa, small enough to survive a bad week. Change it whenever you like.

02

Set the bar

Which days you're on the hook for. Days you switch off are rest days — never judged, never charged.

03

Check in with a photo

At the gym, on the trail, in your front room. Nobody reviews it — you chose to put your own money up, so there's nobody to fool but yourself. Forgot one? Check in the next morning and the money comes straight back.

What a missed day
actually looks like.

Most apps hide the mechanism. This is the whole of it, including the part where payFit decides it was wrong and gives the money back.

Sunday 2 August Waiting
  • Day endsNothing is judged at midnight — a late-syncing watch would be punished for the network's fault.00:00
  • Grace window passesThree hours for a workout to reach Apple Health.03:00

  • Re-judged and refundedYou did the work. payFit was wrong. It returns the money without being asked.+$5.00

A photo clears the day.
Nothing is uploaded.

An app that takes your money should be specific about what it can see.

  • Your check-in photo Stays in the app's own storage on your phone. Not uploaded, not reviewed by anyone, not added to your camera roll, and kept out of iCloud backups. On your phone
  • Workouts When each one started, when it ended, and what recorded it — including anything from your Apple Watch. Optional: skip it and clear your days with photos. Read
  • Everything else in Health Heart rate, steps, sleep, weight, cycle, nutrition. None of it is touched. Not read
  • Where it goes Your workouts stay on your phone. Never uploaded, never sold, never used for advertising. Nowhere
  • Your card Handled by the payment processor. payFit keeps the brand, last four digits and expiry — never the full number. Tokenised

The rules that
protect you.

A stake app is only worth trusting if it is harder on itself than on you. These are built in, not promises.

  • A day is judged the next morning, not at midnight A workout finished at 23:50 doesn't always reach your phone by midnight. 3 hour grace
  • A late workout gets your money back Watch flat or offline? If the workout arrives after you were charged, payFit refunds it on its own. Automatic
  • One charge per day. Ever. Enforced by how the ledger is built, not by a check that could be forgotten. Guaranteed
  • Two recordings of one run count once If your Watch and a running app both log the same session, the overlap is counted a single time. Merged
  • Nothing before you arm it The stake starts the day you turn it on. Earlier days are never judged. Never
  • Old days are written off Leave payFit closed for a month and you won't come back to a wall of charges. 14 days

payFit is not a medical or fitness programme. It's an accountability tool. Choose a goal that's sensible for you, and check with a doctor before starting any new exercise routine. If you're injured or unwell, switch your stake off — it takes one tap and costs nothing.
